I`m very proud to introduce you the next famous game at jobs: “Plants vs. Zombies ”. Although it sounds strange and creepy, it`s a quite funny game, that have all the opportunities to become a rival for Zynga`s games posted on Facebook (which are considered to be a not-working leisure, as many managers complaint that workers tend to play much more Farmville than to do their duties).
“Plants vs. Zombies” is free, you can either download it for your Windows 2000/XP/Vista, you can play it online or you can buy it as a souvenir for your smart phone (estimated at 17 EUR).
Although it`s fresh on games market, PopCap Game` s creation received an avalanche of positive critics so far: it`s spectacular, imaginative, funny, endless, original, catchy and interactive. For a long time, I haven`t seen so many epithets for a product, so that means that`s quite genial game and it deserves all of our attention.
The story is simple and descended from childhood`s stories: some zombies plan to invade your place and your only weapons are…zombie plants, with special powers. Among your arsenal of plants you will find walnuts or peashooters. Don`t think that you are the only one with special weapons, even the zombies have some assets in their pockets. You have to think on the spot and to plant quickly the necessary plant, so that you can successfully combat the zombies. Nature, controlled by zombies, will be one of your permanent enemy: the sunset, the fogs and high humidity.
Your peas will trough with seeds in the first zombies, which are slow and not very clever. In the next level, zombies manage to kill your peas, so you send in the battle the potatoes, that just explode when they are touched and so on. With each level, your plants will get more advanced and so the zombies too. It`s a tense and funny game, so don`t miss it whenever you are bored. Just hearing the zombies murmuring will certainly make you laugh.
The game is structure on five modes, each one more complex than the previous: Adventure, Mini-Games, Puzzle, Survival and the bonus Zen Garden. If you are a master of plants, you will surely conquer all the 50 levels of adventure, either it`s daylight, nighttime outside. Not to mention the difficult swimming pool or rooftop features. The zombies are classified on 26 types, more creepy than ever.
The game has just been released and game editor already included in the category of tower defence games, ideal for this summer. Let`s hope that you too share the same opinion, although a very severe gamer could easily consider it a waste of time.
