Windows Media Player can play digital media files located in the Player library on your computer or a network folder or a Web site.If you find that files are played too fast player, try to install new drivers for your sound card. For more information, see the manufacturer’s Web site or search the driver updates the Web site Windows update.
Playing a file in the library
1. Click the Library tab, then browse or search the item you want to play.
If your library does not display the type of media file you are looking for (for example, it displays the music, but want to see videos), the address bar, click the button Select categorieImagine Select category, then click another category.
2. Choose one of the following:
Drag an item in the List pane.You can drag individual items in the List pane (such as one or more songs) or collections of items (such as one or more albums, artists, genres, years or classifications).If the List pane is not visible, click the button ListăImagine panel display panel display next to the search list.If the List pane already contains other elements, you can empty the contents by clicking the Clear button panel ListăImagine Clear List pane.
Double-click the item to start playing it. Depending on the selection on double click, it is possible to restore more items. To play a single item, drag it to the List pane.
Note:

Playing a file whose playback was interrupted or stopped
1.Click the Play button RedareImagine.
2.To move to a certain point in the file, move the slider to Imagine Search cursor point where you play the file.
Mouse is not available for some.
Playing a file from a Web page. Click the link on the Web page. If you have problems playing files from Web pages when you use a Netscape browser, you may need to reinstall Netscape Navigator plug-in WindowsMedia Player from Microsoft Web site. To add or remove a plug, must be logged on as administrator or a member of the Administrators group.
Playing a file that is not in library
1. Click the File menu, then click Open. If the File menu is not visible, display the classic menus.
2. Navigate to the appropriate location, click File, then click Open. You can specify the following types of locations:
\ \ Server \ content \ filename
file: / / \ \ server \ content \ filename
Playing a file from the Internet by entering the URL of the file
1. Click the File menu, then click Open URL.If the File menu is not visible, display the classic menus.
2. Type the URL of the file, then click OK. You can specify the following types of locations:
mms: / / server / filename (eg a file with a. wma,. wmv or. mp3)
http://server/nume file
mms: / / server / sami.asf? = http://server/sami/sami_demo.smi SAMI (Synchronized Accessible Media Interchange File (SAMI))
Playing a section of a file
Some files contain markers, which are like tracks on a CD. If you play a file that contains markers, you can go to the section file you want by selecting the marker for this section.Click the View menu, point to markers file, then click the marker you want.
If the View menu is not visible, display the classic menus. Continue playback when switching users. Player automatically stops playing a file when you use Fast User Switching feature to change users using the computer. If you want to continue playing, do the following:
1. Click the arrow below the Now Playing tab, then click More Options.
2. In the Player tab, uncheck the box Stop playback when switching to another user.
To enable playback on a compact
You can choose to play files in compact mode for file names consistent. This mode is useful, for example, if your company routes voice mail messages to your email program. Note that if the player is already in progress when play the file, the player will remain in its current display mode.
1. Click the arrow below the Now Playing tab, then click More Options.
2. In the Player tab, select the Start the Compact for files whose names contain the text.
3. In the text box, type all or part of the filename you want to play in compact mode.
If playing a song or video was interrupted by hearing other media elements such as a voicemail recording, press CTRL + B to resume the original item.
