VoxOs is a chat program that combines the functionalities of many Web chat services, among them being the Digsby and Skype programs. Because thr program has too many options to offer, it has been set to come in two versions and the secodn version of this program introduces even more features than the first one. It depends on you if this is the suitable program for you or not.
The program offers a multi-protocol chat, it has support for social networks, thus you can place your status on the chat and be seen on Facebook or Twitter, depending on what plugins you use, and also integrates the mails. The telephony service which is included means that the calls are encrypted, so that no one will ever know what you talked to your bouyfriend on the phone, and the mobile calls can be initiated not only by calling that certain number, but also from SMS or when you are on a Website and you simply need to talk to your friend.
You have a personal assistant, which is there for you when you need this. I don’t know if you can disable it, but I hope you can, because I don’t personally like the assistants. I prefer to read the instructions and then make my own wishes and commands. But it can be of a true help, if you use those assistants in another ocassions. So, I guess that in the end, you will have to address to its services, since you have too many contacts coming from many sources. It will be your secretary. Just make sure it doesn’t drink too much coffee, nor speaks too much on the phone.
To use the VoxOx’s phone features, you will need to acummulate points. You can do this by using the program. You can read more on the manufacturer’s site. All that is sure is that you can benefit of 120 points/minute. This is just to get you started. With this software, you can call, text and chat in a single interface. I don’t actually get the difference from texting and chatting, but this is the description of the manufacturer and we have to treat it properly. If you download the program, tell me how it works. I usuallt don’t use instant messaging services, so the program is not for people like me. I prefer to use the phone more than Internet programs.
