Microsoft PowerPoint means slides and more slides. So, when creating a new PowerPoint presentations, you actually begin by creating a first slide. As you build your presentation, you will add new slides, some text, more graphics, some with diagrams, or combined. Add slides whenever you need by choosing New Slide from the Insert menu. It can also be inserted with a mouse click on New Slide from the menu below or CTRL + M. Add a new slide after the current slide and choose a layout for the new slide.
When you change the layout and adopt a new one, you have to follow these steps: from the Format menu choose Slide Layout or click the button below Layout menu; a dialog box appears with the currently selected layout, select (click) the new layout, choose Apply.
You can delete one or more slides in the presentation in several ways. If you have one, it can be deleted from the Outline or Slide Sorter View menu from the Edit menu, if you choose Delete slide. In the top menu, you have Options, View Slide and from here you can select the desired outline and then choose Delete from the Edit menu or use the Delete key when you are on that certain slide.
Changing the order of presentation slides is also easy. When you are in Outline or Slide Sorter from the View menu is very easy to change the order in which your slides will appear in the presentation. In Outline View, simply move a slide from one location to another, select the slide and then “drag” the icon of the title from the current position until a new position. When you perform the drag operation, a horizontal line will help in place your slide exactly where you want. Or another way: in Slide Sorter, move a slide, drag the selected slide from the current position to a new position, desired. As you drag, the icon of the slide will move also and when you arrive at a spot between two slides, one indicator shows you how the slide will appear, if it will be positioned there.
