Star Fish is a game recommended for children, which can be played in the browser and it requires a very good distributive attention. You have to watch the fish that try to eat your character, which is also a fish, but a smaller one, and you have to be very attentive to the gameplay. The goal of the game is to eat a lot of stars and to stay away from the fish that want to eat you.
The first level is easy and you are requested to move the mouse only in two or three directions, because after this you will only have to keep the straight line until you eat all the stars that are present on the board. The higher you reach, the more complicated the game starts to be and the more fish that are eager to eat you will be drawn on the screen. Although, those fish are not hunting you, like you might think (in fact they are stable and do not even move), you have to be very careful and not touch them, because if you touch too many, you die. It is considered that you annoyed that big fish, thus it ate you. In the third level, you will see that the game is not that easy when it comes to trcik the player. The stars are orange and in the third level there are some orange fish that are among those stars. If you bump into them, you will die before you achieve your goal, which is to collect as many stars as you can in the limited time, which is provided by the game the first moment you enter Star Fish.
You can see in the upper right corner that you have 3.20 minutes to collect the stars. At the end of the game, you are asked to enter your name, unlike other games where this operation is usually performed at the beginning of the game. The name is necessary to submit the score that you have obtained in the game. You can submit as an anonimous player or you can write your actual name. You will get most likely a score around 150 points or higher, if you have a lot of patience. Be careful because the fish doesn’t move backwards. If you want to move the fish to an earlier location, you have to move it in front and then turn around and reach the location you want.
To be able to move the fish when you enter the game you have to click somewhere on the board. You can click on the fish as well. If you move your cursor, the fish will not move until you click on the board, to see that you are present. This is good, because the game does not interfere with the mouse when it moves from one level to another. You know those games where you move the mouse simply because you want to feel it differently in your hand and you wake up that your character has been killed because you moved the mouse when the next level was loading and the game took that information and moved the character towards that fatidic location. This is not that kind of game and you have to give the command to the game that you are ready for gameplay.
