You will money with your blog, if you let it to be profitable. You have to create a group of friends for your blog. In other words, you can make some bucks if you affiliate with the rigth persons. If you group with a person that has a 0 page rank, then it will not help, but by joining a community field with pages having a 6 or 7 page rank will definitely make you go higher in this Google top.
There are other ways of course. Instead of finding the best solution for your blog to generate more traffic, you can pay the visitors to come to your site. I know, this is something that I would not do, but there are many people who pay people to visit their site, in order to attract more the attention of Google. But why to pay for something that you can get for free?
You can use your articles to generate traffic. The more you write, the more people you can attract. Try to write about related stories. For example, if you have a blog related to flowers, you can write about flowers, trees, plants and gardens. You may touch the subject of tools for gardening, but don’t start talking about computers, because neither the search engines, nor the visitors will understand what is your blog about after all. They thought they were visiting a blog where they could info about flowers and now you are presenting them the new tablet released by Samsung.
So, writing articles is an option and is free. You don’t have to pay visitors to come and check your blog. They will come naturally, even if you are not in the first position in the Google’s search list. If you are, you will attract more, but my experience tells me that even if you don’t have 100 visitors a day, you can still make money. I know that there are Websites talking about weather, geography, religion and other stuff that may appear uninteresting to some, but very interesting to others. I recently entered a blog about angels, which I have never heard of and I was surprised to see that it has the page rank of 7 or something like this. Good for them.
Another good way is to use the social networks to promote your blog. There you can promote also the articles. If you run a business and you want your articles to promote in fact your products, you can place more ads on Twitter and Facebook. Not ads in the real sense of the word, but little posts (having less than 160 characters) about the articles on your site and also about the products. Some may be interested about the news itself and others about the product.
If you say that you sell pink flowers that have 2 black petals, you can attract those who will want to buy them. If you say: “Read this article about pink flowers with black petals”, you may attract those who want to know more about this wonder. The good thing is that they also can become your customers, if you select the right words in writing the article and also the right pictures. You know that a picture does like a thousand words, so why not use more pictures. Those who run businesses related to flowers, like I mentioned before can be happy about this, because they are trully blessed to be able to show pictures with flowers. It is said that photos with girls, technology and nature in general attract the majority of the Internet users.
