Review Master Voyager 2.60

If you use the computer regularly, on an every day basis, you will notice that in several years you will need a lot of storing space on your hard disk because there are a lot of documents and files, photos and music you need to save and the amount of these files piles up in time that , no matter how much space you have, you still need more. So, before buying a bigger hard disk you also think about storing some of the data on some removable devices like CDs, DVDs, Blu-rays or even memory sticks. This is a very easy way of backing up your documents, but also of transferring data from one computer to another when they are not connected to the Internet. The only problem might be the data security because some of the documents stored on these devices might be really important for you or for your company and you wouldn’t want it to be read by other people from the outside and eventually used for bad purposes. So the best you can do is to protect these devices. Of course there are many software applications that allow you to encrypt your files and you can only read them if you have the password. However, in this case you must have the same software installed on both computers and also administrator rights on that computer or else you will not be allowed to read and edit those files.

But now there is another solution to this problem and it is called Master Voyager 2.60. This is a software application that allows the user to protect the contents of removable storage devices like the ones mentioned before by allowing access only after the user introduces the right password. What’s different about this application is that it is totally autonomous, so you do not need it installed on the computer where you want to read the documents. You only enter the password and the access is granted. The only requirement for both computers where you use the CD or the flash drive is to have one of the following operating systems installed: Windows Vista , XP and 2000 – the 32 and 64 bit version and , of course, to have an USB port and a CD/DVD drive. So it this application is not an auto-installing software and does not install any kind of software on the other computer. It is rather an autonomous software that works independently on the device and protects the data there. Once the password is correctly introduced, you have access to all the files and do whatever you want to with it.

Master Voyager 2.60 uses one of the strongest encryption systems in the world, AES 256-bit , that is also used in protecting the documents of the US Government. The software has an embedded burning module that allows the user to burn the CD or the DVD together with the encryption, protecting the data and burning the device at the same time. This is the latest version of the software and it also protects the files on USB flash drives, unlike the other ones that only worked with discs. However, in this case the protected device also contains some special software called Partition Explorer. It is very important for you to know that you can only secure parts of a device, not all of it and the software will ask for your password only when trying to open that particular part, not the other data.

The software was developed by SecureAction Research LLC , has 8.4 MB and can be downloaded as free trial and used for thirty days or purchased as a fully featured package for $69.95.
