Apple Insider tells us that Apple will start receiving orders for their newest gadget since Friday this week, that is tomorrow. Apple has already sent many gadgets to their local stations, but if you want to buy the product online, you are able to this tomorrow also. There is a slight difference of time between the local shops and the possibility of buying the product online, but don’t worry, if you want an iPad, Apple will serve you.
The retail locations will start to sell the iPad at 5 pm, but the online buyers will be able to order their product at 1 am, so earlier, compared to the local stations, if they live on the Pacific coast and at 4 am, if they live on the Eastern coast. I don’t know exactly what is the situation of the Europeans and how they will get the product. Because if you think, 5 pm in Europe is definitely with a lot of hours before the time on the American continent. As I can read in the article on Apple Insider, it seems that for now, only the Americans benefit of this release, the product being available at 236 Apple stores all around the United States.
The Apple authorized resellers are also able to sell this gadget, also at 5 pm, their local time and if you know, the gadget comes running the technologies of AT&T or Verizon, so these companies sell the product as well at their shops. Best Buy, Target and Wal-Mart sell it too. The price of this new gadget, which will be available in the United States from March 11, 2011, is of $499, the 16 GB model and of $599, the 32 GB model. Those who want even more space, and here I am referring to the gadgets that have 64 GB in storage, will pay accordingly, which is $699. These are the prices for the gadget having only Wi-Fi capabilities. If you want 3G functionality, the prices are higher. I shall give you an example: the 16 GB model of the iPad 2 which incorporates Wi-Fi and 3G capabilities costs $629.
