I admit that lately I have neglected a little bit the chapter of games dedicated to iDevices. This week I have just presented you just “Plants vs. Zombies” and I`m taking my revenge in the next articles, meant to show you the top ten of iPad games this week.
Why iPad games sell like hot cakes?! One big advantage for the customer is the accessible price. Just compare, a game for iPad costs about 7-10$, ,why a serious game for consoles is estimated at 30-40$ and the game experience doesn`t differ too much. On both devices you have to use your fingers, to play fast and score as speedy as you can. In fact, all the difference lays on the screen`s size, in my opinion: a game console will offer you a little bit bigger view than an iDevice.
“Radio Flare Redux” is the last game on top ten. Its aim is to transform into a DJ, something that I bet you dreamt during high school. With just 5$, you can play the rhythms, combine them, create new tempos and feel like the king/queen of music.
The official trailer doesn`t offer you much information about the game, you have to taste it first and then to say whether it`s hot or not. As far as I could see, your creating act is associated with abstract video such as atoms or other small and dancing figures.
You are in a flying ship and you have as mission to destroy bad guys. Music is your most powerful weapon, as you move into space, the beat will help you navigate and shoot with accuracy. “Radio Flare Redux” includes until this moment 33 different planetary levels on which you can groove any time. In order to keep you alert, producers thought to offer you unlockable rewards, that will provide you new challenges and an advanced Visualizer mode for a better viewing.
The game has already gained positive critics. On his site, you will read plenty of reviews and appreciation concerning its mechanism. It looks that game editors and players are delighted by the synchronism between shooting and trance music presence. Another features that make “Radio Flare Redux” ideal for killing time are: advanced visuals, excellent and realistic soundtrack, interactivity or an easy game experience (just using a few of your smart phone`s keys).
Either it deserves all these positive references or not, you will discover by trying. Personally, I don`t understand why did it manage to enter just on the last place in tops, if the game experience is so good. But who knows, “Radio Flare Redux” has a whole summer ahead to show that it deserves any cent, as one of reviewers uses to say.
