Nikon has the pleasure of introducing the new camera Nikon D7000, a new DSLR in DX format that will allow the fans to develop their passion for photography.
Nikon D7000 features a 16.2 MP CMOS sensor, which provides detailed pictures with minimal image noise, even if the light sensitivity includes the range ISO 100-25600. An important role is played by the new image processing system, EXPEED 2, which speeds up the processing so that D7000 is able to shoot up to six frames per second. For fast focusing, the camera was equipped with 39 focus points, including 9 cross-type sensors, as well as with a face detection system.
The glass pentaprism viewfinder provides 100% frame coverage and a magnification of 0.94 x and the shutter is capable of speeds of 1/8000s, tested to 150000 cycles. For a larger sustainability, the device is protected by a magnesium alloy casing and a sealing against dust and moisture and for the safe storage of information, D7000 has two slots for SD cards. The battery offers a high autonomy, an average of 1050 frames.

Being the successor of Nikon D90, the world’s first DSLR that allows making movies, this feature could not have been absent from the technical specifications of D7000, which is able to record in Full HD (1080p), using the MPEG4 AVC/H.264 compression. Also, the users will be able to use auto focus during filming and edit the videos directly to the camera menu.
Nikon also launches the new Speedlight SB-700, a flash with a multitude of functions which is easy to use. SB-700 offers total control over lighting the scene or the subject: it can accomplish the duties of the master, controlling up to two groups and their reports of light, it may act as a remote device within a set of flashes. It also includes the system i-TTL from Nikon, which provides an accurate measurement of light, and an automatically zoom in several steps, which detects the focal length used and adjusts the flash power for visual angles between 24mm and 120mm.
Both Nikon D7000 and Speedlight SB-700 will be available in Europe in November.

Nikon today also announced the relaunch of two legendary objectives especially for photojournalists and professional photographers: AF-S NIKKOR 35mm f/1.4G and AF-S NIKKOR 200mm f / 2 ED VR II.
Next I thought to present the technical characteristics of the new DSLR camera from Nikon, which also can be found on Nikon Website.
