Multiple Activation Key

A Multiple Activation Key (MAK) is assigned to each organization’s unique for each volume edition of Microsoft Office 2010. Each computer must be activated once the activation servers hosted by Microsoft. Each key is associated a counter with the number of activations. For example, a MAK key for a Microsoft Office product activation in 2010 with 100 key allows the organization to install 100 computers and activate it either.

MAK is suitable for organizations with computers not connected to the company for long periods, such as portable computers. For this to work, a MAK key must be installed instead of the default KMS client key which is used in volume license editions of Microsoft Office 2010.

If MAK activation is not required periodic renewal of activation. Must resume only if significant changes were detected hardware. In addition, you should seek more activation permissions after the number of predefined limit switch activation. MAK installation you need to manage sites and the potential need to manually activate phone systems, when there is no Internet connection available.

Do not lose any functionality, even if licensing customers can not upgrade MAK. After successful activation, users will no longer receive notifications.
