The title does not refer to learn and apply the rules that you can find in a certain article on the Internet, on a blog in other words. No, it means that you can learn from other blogs what ideas to take and use for your own blog, if you want to be successful. Of course, here I am talking about blogs that have a high page rank and that are read by thousands of users each day.
You may learn from the Help Centers which are filled with forums of diverse blogging platforms. About WordPress and Blogger I kept writing articles. You can read them here on SoftSupplier, or if you want to know everything, you can enter their official Websites. But my opinion is that after you register on a blogging platform, you can learn the real deal from successful bloggers.

See how they write articles, what is their writing style, to whom they collaborate (other sites), whose banners they place at the top of the Website and more. You have to know something about HTML and CSS in order to get inspired by them. If you look at the site and you cannot come up with any idea that can be taken and used on your own Website, then this method will not work for you. Let’s say you see that the blogroll is placed in the right of the most successful blogs. You should do the same thing. Or you can see that the Like button is placed immediately after the article. Once again: a good thing that you can use as well. If you put the Like button at the beginning of the article, after the user reads your article, even if he likes it, he will find it difficult to go back, to scroll, to click on the Like. But if the Like button is immediately after the article, even if the user doesn’t like that much the article, in a way he will feel obliged to click on it. Because he found some good stuff there, because he has learned a new thing, because he met you and other reasons.
The situation does not apply if the user likes the article very much. If the article is too long and he must scroll for 10 seconds to reach the top of the article, he will leave this on another time. Of course, that time will never come. So, there are some rules that have to be followed to make your readers’ experience on your blog pleasant.
You can analyze the blogs on WordPress for example, to see what is the Website’s design, about what topics other people write and others. You can enter a tag and then go to that tag’s articles. If you write on your blog about Lady Diana, because you lobe her and you feel that no other woman is like her, you can find out what other blogs on WordPress write about Lady Diana.
When you will see the blog, the first thing you will see will not be represented by the articles, but by the interface. There are cases in which the interface is so overcrowded with titles, images, videos, ads and links that you cannot stay more than 10 seconds there.
Your blog has to be simple and clean. Look at the Google’s interface. What other site looks simpler than that? And still, it has a page rank of 10. why? Because they knew how to attract visitors. This is what you have to do. By seeing how other persons use their sites, you will reach to a certain wisdom in the field of blogging. You don’t have to read books to be the best, but I am not saying that reading a book would hurt. In fact, I recommend as reading as much as you can. You decide what to write. As long as there is something that can teach you a thing, then the book is good.
When you start analyzing blogs, you will visit many of them. You know that from a link to another, you can end up visiting hundreds of sites every day. You don’t have to use that much effort, because your eyes will not be happy. Instead, you should be very attentive on some people’s blogs. Enter their sites days in row, to see their behaviour on the site, to see what makes them successful. It is better to enter few sites and learn a lot, then to enter small sites, with page rank 0, which have nothing to teach you.
Remember what are the most popular widgets and plugins on the sites you visit. If you use Blogger or WordPress, you have the possibility of downloading many of them for free. When you are on the most popular sites that you can find, see what is the element that makes those sites to distinguish themselves from other sites. What do you read those site and you don’t read another site that offers about the same information? Try to answer yourself to these questions and you will find the solution of your problem.
If you visit sites that are popular, never feel attracted of copying the content which is placed there. It is very important to have your own ideas and talk about things with your own words. Of course, if you report a news, you will copy the news (nor word by word, just the idea), but you have to write down the source and also give a link to the source or to the whole site from which you took the news. In the case of the journalists, where they have to check the news in three different sources, which are not related one to another, the journalist must provide the name of those sources.
