Let`s come back into a more “present” and concrete battle. “Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days” is here.
Unless the title says nothing to you (don`t worry, I didn`t play it too), try it just for the sake of the discount: 10% off through Steam for pre-order customers. The official price is estimated at 45$, which is extremely expensive for a game.
The demo for the PC game has been already released on the market. The whole game will be released in August: 17 August for US and 20 August for Europe. In this period the versions for Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 will be also available on stores` shelves.
“Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days” is a story of street fighting, subject that has been talked about over and over. The producers of the game knew that and if we were to take in account their confession, they tried to offer a plus of novelty: enhanced visuals, courage battles and multiplayer modes. All in all, a new shape of tension for the game.
The game is meant to last for 48 hours, with a lot of tension. Kane and Lynch are partners for good and for bad in the dangerous world of Shanghai. Mafia, street fights and shots are just daily ingredients. In “Dog Days”, the present sequel the action starts when those two friends manage to escape from Shanghai. The consequences are obvious: the local Mafia doesn`t enjoy the little error, so desperate struggles for capturing them again are started.
The official site will be reason of sorrow, because you will have to register each time you want to download something. Quite embarrassing, but the admin knows to protect his merchandise, through this measure.
You will love this game, if you are passionate for police inspired games and if you love to play with your best friend only. Kane and Lynch work like cops: they are in the middle of the fight, they manage to survive somehow and they find time even for a small quarrel, just like partners do. The game offers you the possibly to be either Kane or Lynch, and your best friend to fulfill the other role.
The sense of humor is constant on this series. The first sequel was named “Deadmen” just in case the courageous partners would have said hello to Death itself. The new sequel is called “Dog Days” and I can`t stop myself thinking that the producers inspired somehow from the general saying that the most vigilant men in any field are called “dogs”, loyal, responsible, moral acting and so. Are Kane and Lynch “dogs”? and if it`s so, for whom do they work?!
