I-O Data releases new 27 inch monitor

Remember the days when a 17 inch monitor was a dream and people would have to lean forward to understand or better see something on the screen? Well, that time is long gone and the newest monitors are progressively getting larger. There’s no telling where manufacturers are going to stop. Well, they’ll probably stop when the monitor disappears altogether and is replaced with some form of glasses/holograms, you name it. In the meantime, they keep releasing monitors that get bigger, twist in any imaginable way possible and offer better image than ever. Like many other companies before it I-O data is also adding more products to its lineup and has released a monster 27 inch monitor that will most definitely attract the gaming crowd.

While this particular monitor can be used and appreciated by anyone, gamers are probably the only type of users who place a lot of value on peripherals, from mice to keyboards and monitors. A small monitor could definitely ruin your gaming experience if you happen to play something that you want to see in crisp image and at high resolutions on the large screen in front of you. The new model from I-O data, dubbed LCD-MF271XBR will be released this month and will do quite well both for gamers and people who love to have a movie viewing experience that’s as close as possible to the one a cinema would give them .

The Japanese company’s latest model features a panel with a native resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, which translates into support for Full HD movie playback. The LCD-MF271XBR’s specification list also reads: 1000:1 contrast ratio, maximum brightness of 330 cd/m2, response time of 2ms (gamers should be loving this one) and two stereo speakers that provide decent sound even without a high fidelity audio system. The monitor also offers a nice set of connectivity options including features including D-Sub, DVI and HDMI ports. On top of that you’ll also be getting a 3.5 mm audio jack just in case you decide you want to use your headphones instead of the monitor’s speakers.

What’s also nice about this brand new monitor is that its stand offers tilt, swivel and height adjustment providing a lot of comfort to its future users who can set it whichever way they prefer. While all of the above sounds good to gaming users, multimedia enthusiasts and regular users alike, the manufacturing company hasn’t been kind enough to offer any information regarding this monitor’s pricing or availability and we’re sincerely hoping it will reach some other countries apart from Japan.11
