My printer does not print:
This problem is difficult to diagnose because there are many printers on the market for many reasons one of them would not work. First, make sure the printer is on and connected to your Windows computer according to manufacturer’s instructions. Then try to update the printer driver on your computer. Printer problems sometimes arise because the software beyond the drivers, and can be solved by installing or reinstalling the latest driver. To find the latest driver for your printer, first check Windows Update, which is designed to detect the hardware devices connected to your computer and automatically notifies you when new drivers are available:
1. Open Windows Update StartImagine clicking the Start button, click All Programs, then Windows Update.
2. In the left pane click on Check for updates, then wait while Windows search for the latest updates for your computer.
3. If there is any update, click Install updates. Administrator permission required If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation. If you do not see listed an updated printer driver is still possible to have one: Does the printer manufacturer will not it still be sent to Microsoft. Most printer manufacturers offer updated drivers in support section of their Web sites. Drivers are typically organized by Windows edition and printer model. I see an error message about problems with the item “spooler” the printer or the printer prints more slowly than usual. A print spooler is software that temporarily stores print jobs on a computer hard disk or memory until the printer is ready to print. If you wait very long for a document to print, or an error message on your print spooler, the spooler subsystem’s site or spooler resources, you may need to change and then restart Print Spooler service on your computer. To achieve this, we recommend you save work, then restart the computer for the print spooler service to restart. If you wish to restart the computer, try these steps instead.
To change or restart the print spooler service
You must log on as administrator to perform these steps.
1. Open Administrative Tools clicking the Start button, click Control Panel, click System and Maintenance, then Administrative Tools.
2. Double-click Services. Administrator permission required If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
3. Right-click on the Print Spooler service, and then click Properties.
4. Make sure Automatic is selected on the General tab, near the start type.
5. If service is not already running, click Start under Service status and then click OK. Administrator permission required if you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
The printer prints only part of a page, only print colour prints unclear or deleted or changed. It may be necessary to replace an ink cartridge or toner. Check the information in the print queue status message on the low ink or toner. If the printer has a status or display area, you can also check the messages on the low printer ink or toner. Missing paper from the printer.
Reload the paper tray or, if your printer has multiple trays, make sure you reload the tray that matches the size paper you have selected. To learn how to load paper in the printer, see the information that was supplied with the printer. Also, some printers provide you with steps in a status or display area. If you add paper but still receive a paper missing message, check printing options for the document to see if you have selected the correct paper tray or source.
The paper is attached to the printer (paper block).
To avoid damaging the printer, check the information that was supplied with the printer to learn how to remove jammed paper. Depending on the printer and locate the problem, you may want to try one of the following options:
See messages in the status display or printer that you could tell where a problem and then take those steps to remove the jammed paper. If the printer does not show on the issue, see the information that was supplied with the printer. If the printer is connected to a network domain, contact a system administrator or your company’s help desk. Some printers have a button you can press and hold it, or other paper feed option that you can use to try to extract paper without damaging the printer. It may be necessary to open the printer cover and remove paper that caused the problem. Before proceeding in this way, see the information that was supplied with the printer to see if you need to turn off the printer or to follow additional steps to prevent harm or damage your printer.
