We found out earlier this year about IrfanView – a freeware graphic viewer for Windows 9x/ME/NT/2000/XP/2003/Vista, and Windows 7. IrfanView is basically a picture editing program where you can add your own effects, view your picture, and even crop it.
You can download IrfanView following the next steps:
Go to your default browser (in this case I am using Mozzila Firefox) and go to the IrfanView official homepage. When you open this page, you have two options to download it.
First, on the right side of the webpage, you have to download IrfanView itself and then you can add Plugins/AddOns which are extra features to help your editing process.
Second, you can click on the Download button on the left menu.
Here you can choose from a number of options. There’re all good. Click on one option.
Click on Download Now.
A window will pop-up asking you to Save File or Cancel. Select Save File.
You can Save the file on your Desktop or in your Download Folder.
Once the Setup installation has been downloaded, go to the place where you have saved the file and double click on the .exe file and open it.
This opens up the installation process. You can check or uncheck the boxes based on you want to do. Also you can choose where you want to install the file. Click on Next.
Next you can read what’s new in the latest version. Click on Next.
Here you can check or uncheck the files that IrfanView will let you view and edit. Click on Next.
Then you can choose whether you want any toolbar to be installed on your computer. If you don’t want this you can uncheck the boxes. Click on Next.
The setup will tell you that you are ready to install this program. Click on Next.
And then click on Done.
Now you are ready to use IrfanView. If you are not pleased with IrfanView results, you can uninstall the program.
