How to delete sites history?

Information in this Help topic applies to Windows Internet Explorer 7 and Windows Internet Explorer 8.

Internet Explorer stores a history of all web sites you’ve visited. You can delete this information to save hard disk space or protect your privacy.

To delete your browsing history in Internet Explorer 7

1.Open Internet Options StartImagine clicking the Start button, click Control Panel, the Network and Internet, then Internet Options.

2. Click the General tab, then under Browsing History, click Delete.

3.Under History, click Clear History then click Yes to confirm delete history.

4.Click Close, then OK.

To delete all or part of your browsing history in Internet Explorer 8

1.Open Internet Explorer StartImagine clicking the Start button, then click Internet Explorer.

2. Click Security, then click Delete Browsing History.

3. If you wish to delete cookies and files associated with Web sites of Preferences list, select the data are maintained from your favorite Web sites.

4. Select the checkbox next to each category of information you want to delete.

5.Click Delete.
