How to create powerpoint templates?

To begin creating the template that you will use the presentation, do the following:

Open a blank presentation, then click the View tab, the group coordinating views, click the slide master.

Tip. The View coordinator slides, the panel reduced image (thumbnail: thumbnail representation of an image.) To slide, slide coordinator is more of a slide image and related issues are smaller and positioned below it.

To customize the coordinator of slides and related issues, do one or more of the following:

To remove an unwanted placeholder, default of appearance, the panel reduced image of the slide, click the slide layout that contains the placeholder, click on the placeholder in the presentation window, then press DELETE.

To add a placeholder text, small images slide panel, click the slide layout you want to contain the placeholder, then do the following:

1. Slide Manager tab in the Layout group coordinator, click Insert Placeholder, and then click Text.

2. Click on a location coordinator of slides, then drag to position the placeholder.

Tip. To resize a placeholder, drag one corner edges.

Type a descriptive text which asks users to enter information specific template. To add a custom application text, see Add a text placeholder text with custom application.

To add other types of substitutes that contain content such as pictures, clip art, screenshots, SmartArt graphics, charts, videos, sounds and tables, slide master tab in the Appearance group coordinator, click Insert Placeholder, and then Click on the type of placeholder that you want to add.

To customize, using color and background, do the following:

To apply a theme (theme: A set of unified design elements that confer a particular aspect of the document by using colors, fonts and graphics.) (To include a color layout, formatting, effects) in the presentation, tab slide master, theme Editing group, click Themes, then select a theme.

To change background, slide master tab, the Background group, click Background Styles, then select a background.

To set the page orientation for all slides in the presentation, the slide master tab in the Page Setup group, click Slide Orientation, and then click Portrait or Landscape. To save the template, click  butonul Office, then click Save As. In the File name box, type a file name or do not do anything to accept the name suggested. The file type list, click PowerPoint Template (. Potx), then click Save.

Tip. Save templates in Templates folder in C: \ Program Files \ Microsoft Office \ Templates \ to locate them more easily.
