Maybe, you want to have in your face a virtual book that electronically reproduces the paper with black text on white. This opportunity is offered by Readability. Readability is a short JavaScript code that reformat Web pages, keeping only the text and images between paragraphs. Are removed all other elements including columns and side tables. Simplifying web pages with Readability involves two steps: configuration and actual use and we’ll talk about both steps in the following lines.
Firstly, we’ll talk about configurations. You must enter on the official Readability website page and configure the future electronic book. You can choose the page style, text size and page width. In each set there are five options. You can see the next page how will look like, even while you check the available options. You can also check the option Convert hyperlinks to footnotes. All you have to do is pulling with the mouse the Readability button in your browser bookmarks bar. Now, the Web page you want to reformat using the Readability, you must press the Readability button in bookmarks toolbar. Instantly, the page will be converted into an electronic book page.
