How To Block Unwanted Websites

When you want that certain Websites to not appear in the list with the search results when you search for a word or an expression on a search engine, you can do this by using an add-on. I have to tell you that this works only for Firefox, as I read on eHow.

The name of the plugin is called BlockSite and it is free to use. When you search for a word and the site that you don’t want to enter appears in the list, you will see only a text where it was supposed to be a link. So you cannot click on the link, because there is no link there.

To benefit of this add-on, first you have to download it from the add-ons available for Firefox. When you have opened the Firefox browser, click on add-ons and then Get Add-ons. Browse the available add-ons and search for the right one. select BlockSite and then add it to Firefox. After you have this plugin installed on your browser, you can start using it.

Click on the Blacklist and write the URL of the site that you don’t want to see in the nearest future. Also, click on Enable BlockSite to make sure that the plugin is working when you perform online searches.
