How Does Netflix Work?

Netflix is a service offered to the Americans or better said to those who have their residence on the United States territory. If you do not live in the US or for a reason or another, you are away from the US territory, you will not be able to access the service. When you enter for the first time the Netflix page, which is found at netflix.com, the Website will recognize if you are in the IS or not and if you are not, they will warn you that you will not be able to view the programs presented here unless you live in the United States.

For almost 8 dollars a month, the customers see TV shows, live video streaming, view unlimited TV episodes and movies, and all of these on every device that you have, which can be connected to the Internet. There are certain devices which do not stream from Netflix, but you can find this when you buy the device. Ask the manufacturer of that product if the Netflix services can be used on the device you buy. The Xbox 360 and the Wii console are some of the devices which can be used to watch the Tv shows offered by Netflix.

This company will soon face a competitor in the person of Amazon which will launch a service which will offer the users some free programs, programs that are normally paid. This refers to more than 5000 television shows. In this situation, you will have to watch the TV all the time and not to work anymore. With such wide offer, every taste will be satisfied. So, for Netflix it will be a bit hard to beat the offer coming from Amazon, and dedicated to their Amazon Prime customers.

With Netflix, you benefit of some advantages. For example, the first month is a free trial and you benefit of this service, only to try it and to see if this is suitable for you or not. If you ask me, you don’t have to try the service to see that it is good. Only enter the site, read all about Netflix and get the service. You will not pay an yearly fee, nor you will have the surprise of receiving some late fees, due to God knows what contract you signed and you did not know that you have signed it. With Netflix, these problems will never happen.

If you live on the territory of the United States, try Netflix and if you enjoy the system, remain a customer and you will have to pay this service when the date will come. You don’t have to do nothing special to use this service. Still, you should read the terms of service before trying the service. There is no catch, but when you say that you will pay a service, at least you should read the terms of that service. It would be a good idea if you would print those terms to be able to read them, even if the computer with which you enter the site and thus view the TV shows gets broken.
