From the loan shark room, you can borrow some money or repay your debt, if you have one. I suggest you not to enter this room either, because like the name suggests, here you have to deal with a shark, not with a bank or a banker. Although there are many occasions where we can say that a bank is a shark, dealing with real sharks is more dangerous. When I say “shark”, I mean those people who are slippery enough, and they can’t be caught by the police, nor by other authorities. The maximum loan is of 15000 dollars. The cash that is at your disposal thanks to the creators of this game is of 1000 dollars. In my opinion, as I can see the game until now, you don’t need more than that. It is a good sum of money to start the game.
There are other rooms as well, like an advertising agency, of whose services you don’t benefit yet. The current fame of your dog or of yours, if you are in the dog’s shoes, is of 1 point. You can put your dog out to stud. If you have a winning dog, you will gain money from this operation, if the dog is not famous, you will lose money. So, this room provides a two-sided advantage.
The races are held on Saturday, no matter the division in which your dog in included. So, if you have a dog which is not well trained or on the contrary, very well trained, you will get it to the same race track, as every other dog owner. Being the first day of our journey, which is Monday of course, until Saturday you can train your dog by yourself or you can hire a trainer to do that for you. Let’s say you go on the cheapest way, which is to train the dog by yourself.
In this way, you will not be forced to pay a trainer. The cost of a trainer is from 200 dollars to 1000 dollars a week. Another room present on the board is the betting shop. There you can bet on a dog and then watch the race. For example, I bet 100 dollars on Rock Dan, the odds giving me the chance of winning 400 dollars. Unfortunately, Lady won, so I lost 100 dollars.
In the Dog Supplier shop, you can buy your dog a ball to play with, food, a house, bones and more. You benefit also of the services of a travel agency. From there, you can find what are the flights towards other destinations and what is the cost of them.
Overall, the game seemed ok, even though I did not manage to participate in a rec, nor to make my dog eat the food I bought for it, nor to play with the ball I also bought from the same store as the food. Probably, you have to be trained also as the dog in order to play the game. I recommend this game to the children, who have more time to spent in order to understand the regulations.
