What do you think about a game, that is delayed again and again?! Personally, this decision will cut my desire to see what that game can do, but let`s admit that producers of “Front Mission Evolved” had their reasons for choosing to delay once again their creation.
Square Enix has delayed the release of its game for October 8. At that date, if something else doesn`t happen, you will can play it on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC. I guess the reason of the first delay was related to the launch of “Transformers” the game, taking in account the fact that both games uses robots as soldiers and probably producers feared that their “Front Mission” could be eclipsed by the much famous Transformers. In first instance, producers affirmed that the game will be release in this September, but it looks a month of waiting will be just fine for it.
The difference between the two games is that “Front Mission Evolved” puts in scene massive humanoids, improved as robots, but in their essence being humans. They are called Wanzer and are ready to defend democracy against terrorism. Does it resemble with something from our reality?! I guess so, we are constantly looking for more powerful weapons, either concrete or human, in order to preserve the idea of democracy. In the game, the world got united into one geopolitical block, but dangers still persists and there`s the need to respond to the terrorist threat.
“Front Mission Evolved” is a third-person action game, placed in the year 2171, 50 years later after the events of the previous sequel. The mankind started to conquer the space, through massive explorations through orbital elevators. The tension is delivered, when an American elevator is destroyed by unknown forces. The main character, engineer Dylan Ramsey, will be caught in the middle in a war between opposite forces. If you were to quote some words of the official review: history always gave a lesson to mankind, but people are so stubborn to understand it- wherever humanity goes, war is to follow.
The trailer will leave you breathless: the images surprised in space and in oceans are more than spectacular. The whole game is created in 3D, indeed the dynamism of robots is impeccable , but the faces of humans aren`t that well done, they look quite stereotypical. The nocturnal and twilight side looks quite realistic and the explosions makes you believe that you are in the middle of a true war, in which a love story has its special place. The famous quotes are an important part of the game too: you will see on your screen passages from Bibles, related to Babel or quotes from political books, stating that war is good for human society, putting in movement inner energies.
If you are a fan of military and robots games, then “Front Mission Evolved” will be on your taste. Pay attention, when you will be buying it, there`s another “Front Mission” game, with no connection to this one.
