Everybody loves a good word search game. In this game, which can be played on proprofs.com, the Games section, you have to find some words, that are related to family, such as mum, dad, sister, brother and aunt. Luckily, all those words are placed vertically, so you can see them with ease. You don’t have to find the words in a time limit, but the more rapidly you manage to find them, more points you will accumulate.
When the game is over, you will be required to join the Proprofs community, in order to compare your result with others’ and to benefit of more games that are made in the same style. About this game I can tell you in addition that it has many columns and rows, so a beginner could get lost by the complexity of the game, until he will realise that in fact the words are pretty easy to be discovered. Once you see this, the game will be a piece of cake to you.
Normally, the words are not arranged in this way only. You have them arranged vertically, but with the first letter somewhere at the bottom of the table and with the last letter at the top of the table. The words can be written oblique, from top to bottom or vice versa, they can be written horizontally from left to right or from right to left. To show that you have found the correct word, you have to click on the first letter and then drag the mouse till the last letter. You will hear a voice saying that this is correct or wrong, depending on the situation. Sometimes, you will hear that is wrong, when in fact it was correct and in other occasions, you will not hear a thing, especially if you move rapidly and the program does not have enough time to process that you have discovered another word. This is unimportant, because on the table you see that the word now has the letters green and it is cut from the list with words that must be found on the board.
