Facebook Launches Prepaid Cards for Buying Virtual Objects

Facebook cards will be launched on September 5, in three variants: of 15, 25, respectively, $ 50.

At the Target store in the United States where they will be put up for sale soon, Facebook ha prepaid cards, with which the social network’s users can purchase virtual items for various applications and games, such as Farmville.

Facebook cards can be used in particular for the games created by Zynga producer, tells FOXNews.com. For example, the credits can be used to purchase seeds and gardening tools in Farmeville and also for the recovery of the stock of weapons in Mafia Wars.

Facebook cards will be launched on September 5, in three variants. We wait to see if the users from other countries can benefit of those cards, but probably they will. Although, it will be more difficult with the transportation; if you live in Europe and want to buy a card from USA, it will be harder to get your hands on the card rather than buying a virtual object for Farmville. It is difficult also for those who live in the USA, because I can imagine that not all the citizens from the US have a Target store next to them.

Let’s hope that Facebook will do somwthing about that. If not, this will not affect negatively the games, because Farmville and Marfia Wars will still have the same popularity.
