Facebook Fanbox is a widget for WordPress, which is represented by a sidebar attached to your site, where you will see a fully CSS customizable fanbox. This is the difference between this plugin and others which allow you to connect Facebook to your site. You can customize the sidebar the way you want, because the plugin offers CSS support, like other plugins of this kind don’t offer.
You can add a likebox to your page, by adding the ID of your Facebook page. That likebox is customizable in every way, you can set its layout, its size, colors, letters, fonts and whatever you want. Show the others who visit your site what is happening on your Facebook page, and perhaps they will be interested in joining the club with the rest of your friends.
It is good that you can customize the fanbox, because it will be more suitable to your site, not like it happens with other plugins, not necessarily plugins like this one, who come already set by their manufacturers, being red, green, with colorful designs, while your site is dark. The available languages in which you can read the instructions are English and German. When you will update this plugin to a superior version, make sure that you dave the settings.
The download option can be found at this page on WordPress. You will download a .zip file, then you will have to unzip it, using archiving programs. Copy the plugin into your folder with plugins that you have on your WordPress site. Activate the plugin and you are all set.
If you do not know how to connect your Facebook page with your site, you have to go to the Facebook page you have, click on the Edit section and there you will see a link that is somehow ended in edit/?id=xxx. That “xxx” is the ID you are required to enter in this plugin to make it work with that page. You cannot use the plugin for more Facebook account at one time.
