I have said that I will speak today of the fifth and the sixth level or chapter in Dream Chronicles, the game that can be played after you dowbload it from Yahoo. I said that I downloaded the free trial version to see if I like the game. From the first images I saw with this game, I thought this is my kind of game and it really is. But my computer thinks differently. I am not able to play more than two levels when I enter the game, so I guess I will remain only with the free version and when this will be over, I will buy a new computer, because I definitely want to play the game. I am joking. But seriously, I will buy soon as possible a new computer, because the game should be played on all kind of systems, not only computers which have Intel Core i7 processors and the high-end graphics cards.
As I said before, I wanted to enter Lyra’s tree house yesterday, but my computer was blocked, or at least the image, so I entered the tree house today. At this level I found out that my husband, Fidget, has two parents, which are… well…. Magical. The name of his mother is Aeval and the name of his father is Tangle. You must reach into their bedroom to be able to find some secrets. But before getting there you need to move the wagon that stops you from getting out Lyra’s tree house. The tree house looks very well, like a true tree house, it is filled with toys and puppets. But from place to place there are also the items that will help you to move the wagon in order to make yourself a path towards the garden that will eventually lead you towards your in-laws bedroom.
Fidget, at the age of three, found out from their parents that they were in fact magical creatures. They were not supposed to marry, nor to have children, that is why they chose to live in the village of Wish. They made Fidget, who eventually married you, Faye, his wife. You and him together you have a daughter named Lyra, who is asleep because of Lilith’s spell upon the entire kingdom and a dog, named Bobby. The doghouse is present in the sixth chapter of the game, which is the garden. But the dog isn’t there, only his doghouse and his plate where he eats his dishes. Bobby was very active lately and he burried some items in the ground. Or at least, I though that way. Wrong, because he only burried one item, item that I have managed to find in the first place.
You have to use the shovel you find in the game in order to see what’s in the ground. I found a metal item that was in fact a key, that is going to be used to open the door that leads you to the in-laws bedroom and their balcony. You have to see the images, their colors are great. The computer says that I don’t have a good video card, but let me tell you, the colors in this game are extraordinary. Play the game and convince yourself.
As I said, I used the shovel 11 times, because you had the chance of using the shovel 11 times, but after I found the metal item in the first place, I did not discover any item at all. Thus, I wasted my time tearing up the ground in the garden.
You have to look for the loose earth to use the shovel, otherwise in the solid earth, the shovel won’t work. Meanwhile, you can collect the pieces of gems that will allow you to recreate the Dream Jewels. When you enter the journal that you find in the first chapter of the game, when you are in your bedroom, the journal left by Fidget, you will see the progress that you’ve made collecting the gems and if you have a dream jewel already completed. In the sixth level, you could not possibly have a gem which is already completed, but who knows. I tried to collect all the gems, but perhaps I missed some. Anyway, the jewels I think need more gems to be completed. The game has 32 levels. If you complete a gem after 3 or 4 levels, you might not be interested anymore in collecting the gems.
Here’s a hint. Try to collect the gems because the game when you don’t know what to do next, will highlight the locations where you must act. If you do not collect the gems, those will be the locations highlightened, and this will not help you. You need to know how to continue the game. So, by collecting all the pieces of gems, you will manage to create again the Dream Jewels and also to benefit of some help from the game itself, which will point the location where you have to act. For example, you cannot find an item. You don’t have to wait too long, because the game will direct your eyes to a certain location. From there you will see something sparkling. That “something” is the suggestion that you should click there to see what object is hidden or perhaps you will be able to see the object there, in the grass or on the ground.
I said that I have found a key that was supposed to open the bedroom, but they key was filled with mud. That is why I had to wash the key with the help of the water in the well. But the well was broken. You have to get a rope from Lyra’s tree house (rope ladder) and use it with the crank to lower the bucket to get some water. These operations are very simple, but you need to find the items in the grass and on the entire board. You have to try the real experience.
