USB Safeguard is a portable application with which you can password “sensitive” data on portable devices (USB drives, memory cards, etc.). For data encryption, you can use the AES algorithm (on 256 bits) and the encrypted data are “hidden”, being accessible only on application interface after entering the password. The virtual keyboard that avoids the keylogger programs is a really pleasant surprise.
To use the application you need to copy the executable file usbsafeguard.exe on USB stick (on root for example), to turn on and configure the password. As an observation, don’t change the location of the executable application as it will not recognize the password and your hidden data. It works only if you turn it on in the location of a first run. After encryption, the original data are permanently deleted (Shredded), no longer being recovered only by decrypting with the USB Safeguard.
In addition, USB Safeguard also offers several “discrete” navigation options on the internet. As I didn’t test them, I assume that only works with Internet Explorer. Some advantages of USB Safeguard are: is portable, adds files and directories via drag and drop, permanently delete files protected by encryption, safety data if Memory Stick’s loss, supports FAT16, FAT32 files system, and NTFS. Size: 736 KB.
