Risk II, a classic “board” game of strategy, battle, conquest and negotiation and you can download it from here. The completely new interface from the previous version, was designed so that the game speed match the speed of the player. With the new “global view”, players can play the role of “God” on a truly global scale.
The game is played on a map divided into six continents and 42 territories (48 if you activate the new options). The defense of these territories must be carefully planed – if not, some victories can easily become defeats. Great loss of troops may result in unexpected loss of key territories or of a continent. Winning the game requires both military and abilities maneuvers, but even the most advanced tacticians can find out that the luck is very important in a battle. Allies are a few and far away, since missions include the annihilation of opponents. In this game, all players will face the same risks.
This game has three big versions:
1. Classic Risk
Risk is the classic component of strategy games of world dominance of all time. You can play Risk as a single player, against the computer, as a hot – seat game with up to 8 players, on a computer, or through a Local network (LAN) or on MSN Gaming Zone. You can win in Classic Risk in 3 different ways: dominating a part of world, capturing enemy capitals or finalizing a secret mission.
2. Same Time Risk
Risk II presents a Same Time way of play. Even if this involves strengthening of positions, transmission of battle orders or certain tactical moves, all the players perform the same actions in the same time, thus eliminating the frustration of having to wait for your turn. Same Time Risk brings you new missions, new rules variations and new territories, all of this enriching your experience, bringing you closer to the reality of Napoleonic war games.
A new dice mechanism was added to the “Same Time Risk” game. With the addition of 12 sides dice, the player has a greater variation of battle types and the possibility of some wins or loses just by throwing a dice. “Same Time Risk” brings this classic game to the next level, without removing its attractiveness and simplicity.
3. Risk Tournament
“Risk Tournament” offers the player a series of challenging games that were designed by true experienced players of Risk. You have 16 separate games through which you must pass. As you progress in the tournament, you will be exposed to new game variations and options. The first games have a classic flavor, but as you advance through the tournament, there will be introduced some “Same Time” games.
Risk II is a very charismatic game, amazing from the visual point of view, fast and very fun to play.
