Of course, there is no comparison between a computer and a human being. There is nothing more tragic than to find that the disease you have is not treatable. With a computer, the things are a bit different. Of course, if you have a powerful machine and also an expensive one, you could cry over it, but the life of a living person will never be replaced.
The program is designed to protect your computer from the known form of threats today: viruses, malware, rootkits, spyware, which might have infected your computer despite all the security measures taken by the owner of that computer.
