DameWare NT Utilities (DNTU) is a management application for Windows NT / 2000 / XP / 2003 / Vista operating systems that enables administrators to overcome Microsoft Management Console (MMC). DNTU provides an integrated collection of management utilities for Microsoft Windows NT, incorporated into an easy to use centralized interface for remote management of Windows servers and workstations. Most of the standard utilities are included in DNTU interface, many of them being improved to provide a superior performance, easy to use, etc. DNTU includes DameWare Mini Remote Control and Exporter.
DNTU also includes Active Directory Object Browser and an extended functionality for searching, filtering and activating of all the AD objects and attributes. Objects management such as OU (Organizational Units), Containers, Users, Groups, Contacts, Computers and attributes that are not available in Microsoft MMC (such as photos, logos, employee ID, etc.) are all supported.
In addition to Active Directory, DNTU supports also management of domains, drivers, workstations, open files, local groups, processes, registry, sessions, printers, software, property, Terminal Services / RDP, users and many other features. DNTU have dynamic Microsoft Windows Network support. Domain controllers, servers and workstations, as well as machines that are not viewed by default by Microsoft Windows Network Browser, can be easily administrated via a machine name or an IP address after they were added to the network browser tree view. With DNTU the user manages the Windows network through an easy to use interface, similar to Windows Explorer.
DNTU, also contains DameWare Mini Remote Control for fast and easy installation and support, and Exporter for fast retrieval of information from Windows machines.
DameWare Development licensing is based on the number of administrators that use the software regardless of the number of servers and accessed clients.
