CyberPower Intros new Fang Series EVO gaming systems

Hardcore gamers have quite a few high quality gaming rigs to choose from currently. Multiple manufacturers are competing in offering the best gaming computer possible with the highest performance imaginable. As technology evolves and new games have higher hardware requirements, manufacturers have to constantly refresh their lineups of gaming laptops with new, up to date products. This is why CyberPower has introduced its new Fang Series Evo enhancements for its gaming PCs on Monday. Aimed at hardcore gamers, the improvements consist of custom hydro liquid cooling kits on each of the offered PCs including the Black Mamba, Cobra, Viper and Rattler. The kit is made of a SPC Rasa Acetal CPU Block, a 750lph low-noise pump and either 240mm or 360mm radiators according to Electronista.  The combo will cool the CPU, GPU and chipset even at speeds higher than stock.

On top of that, the four new PCs part of the Fang series will also be delivered with Venom Boost overclocking technology. The Black Mamba, for example, comes with a Core i7 980X processor that’s overclocked to 4.33Ghz and backed by 12GB of DDR3 RAM. Also a part of the configuration are two liquid cooled Nvidia GTX 480 graphics cards in SLI, two 64GB solid state drives as well as a 2TB hard disk drive, 4x Blu-ray DVD burner combo drive.

While slightly less high performance, the Cobra also has an impressive spec sheet to offer. It features an overclocked 3.84GHz Core i7, 6GB DDR3 Ram, Nvidia GTX 470 onboard graphics card, 1 TB Sata II hard drive and a 22x DVD burner. The Viper is equipped with a Core i7 overclocked to 3.37GHz, 6GB of DDR3 RAM, ATI Radeon HD 5770 graphics, 1TB hard drive and 22x DVD optical drive. The last, the Rattler comes with a boosted 3.22 Intel Core i7 processor, 4GB or Ram, 1 GB ATI Radeon HD 5670, 1TB hard drive and a 22x DVD writer as standard. All of the four systems also include Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit as an operating system and a complete set of ports including USB 3.0 and 6Gbps SATA interfaces.

I don’t think these latest PCS from CyberPower could be considered the top gaming systems on the market on the moment, but they are definitely competing for the title. Obviously, on top of the specification sheets mentioned above, users may also customize their own gaming rigs. The most affordable of the bunch has a starting price of $999, while the most expensive, as you may have expected can achieve a price multiple times higher. If you’re interested in getting a Black Mamba, Viper, Cobra or Rattler you’ll already find them up for sale.
