Iryi Soft was the company that developed this game and I must say that did a great job. The music of the game is composed by Oleg Stepuro. Don’t trun off the sounds, because you will here a splendid music.
At the beginning, you get to choose from three levels of the game, all them being empty, because I have never played the game. Of course, I selected the first level of the game, I wrote my name in the input name box and I hit Enter. The first step in this game is to learn the basics of the game. It is about a tutorial that will teach you everything you need to know in order to win these levels.
You can skip the tutorial if you are aware of the game and its rules. The goal of the game is to keep your gems (the name of the game is Cursed Treasure) from not being stolen. Like in the real world, the gems are a reason to kill. Those who want to steal your gems from you will enter using the entrance (that is odd), go inside your cave and steal one item. If you manage to save at least one item from the ones that are being stolen, you complete the level.
It sounds easy, but if they say to save AT LEAST one item, this is making it sound hard. Let’s see what is all about. To destroy the enemies, you have to move fast and to build towers. There are three types of towers, namely Den, Crypt and Temple. In order to build a tower, you have to destroy the enemies, because only in this way, you will earn the necessary gold to proceed to building towers. The towers are not just any building you imagine. They are like a living creature or they have some sort of beings inside them, because every time when an enemy is in the range of a tower, the tower will attack.
If a tower shoots many enemies, it gains experience, which could lead to an upgrade. After shooting enough enemies, you will be told to upgrade the tower. An upgrated tower will have more features and shoot more enemies and in a better way. If you see Up above one tower, then it is the sign you can improve the abilities of that site. The good thing is the game can be played within the browser. You don’t have to download the game to play it.
The enemies will attack you in a certain period of time. You can see that period if you click on the Attack button. Also, you can control the speed of the game, by using the Time Control buttons. When you click on Attack, the peasants that want to steal your gems will advance more quickly into your cave.
They are pretty happy when they manage to steal a gem from you. At the beginning, you will see only two peasants trying to steal gems from you, but as the attacks grow in intensity, more peasants will attack you, being better dressed in terms of protection, not fashion.
You have to create towers that will help you get rid of those peasants. If a peasant steals a gem from you and you kill it, then you have no ability of getting that gem from the place where it was dropped, when the peasant died. So, at a next attack you will be forced to place many towers in that area, so that you will not allow the peasants that come next to get the gem from that location. This is tricky because you have to place the towers in a location that accepts only the worse category of towers, which usually don’t have that ability in killing enemies like other towers that are placed closer to the mine.
This game is a strategy game, that’s why you have to create a certain strategy to win the game. I won my first game, but I guess everybody does that, because otherwise no one will play, if it wan’t for winning. I leave the other levels of the game to you. I will play the game in the next few hours, that’s for sure, but I am not going to write what’s happening. I leave you the chance of seeing this.
