Create Funny Article Titles

These days when the Internet is filled with content, in order to attract visitors and to make some money with your Website, you have to try a lot of things.

First of all is to provide a great content and to find the right keywords in order to make as many visitors as you can to click on your page. But they will never click on it, if they find on Google or Yahoo or whatever search engine they use, a bad title, that won’t attract them enough to come and see the whole content and perhaps another page on your Website and so on. You know that it is very simple to make a reader to jump from one page to another. If he or she likes what he or she sees, then it is very easy to skip from one content to another, but if they do not like, well… they will skip your site… for good.

This is not supposed to happen. You must find the perfect title for your article. Don’t try to lie regarding the subject, because the people visiting your site will eventually see that you are a liar and only want to make some money (although I can’t imagine how you can by lying). If you write an article about the sun and your title says: “Come and see naked girls!”, this will definitely make the users go away. Those who want to see naked girls, write “naked girls” on Google and enter the appropriate Websites with this type of content. But those who want to see girls and see an article about the sun, will be very disappointed.

This is a market strategy used especially by weak people, who don’t trust their own capabilities of attracting people using legal and even simpler ways.

The people are attracted not only by titles which are written very good and have the power to attract by default, but also by titles which refer to something funny, for example, a situation, a person, an event. The funny stuff attract people, most of the times they may attract people that speak other language than you, because of the fact that the pictures speak from themselves and sites like these, who use funny themes and titles for their content, use photos and videos more than written texts.

I read somewhere that a person wrote a title that was something like this: “How can you tell if you were bitten by invisible cockroaches?” and managed to attract many visitors. If he or she did not, I guess the world did not speak either of that article.

Remember, you must create the title based on the content you wrote. The title must be funny, but not offensive. Good luck!
