Did you hear about CSS3? Well, I heard about it too, but I don’t know exactly what are the new features brought by it. Lucky for me, I follow a Website called sixrevisions.com, where I can find all sort of information useful for me.
And in this article I am going to talk about how Web developers can create social Web buttons for their Websites. The social media buttons refer to Twitter buttons, Facebook, LinkedIn, Flickr and so on. CSS3, according to the site which I just mentioned, gives the developers a more freedom, in other words, you are not that linked to Photoshop or other software programs, used especially for image editing. You can do what you like using only the CSS codes.
You need some free social media icons, you need to know about HTML of course and also about CSS3. I won’t start writing the codes here, because they can be found everywhere on the Internet, if you search using the words “free social media buttons”.
The technique of creating social media buttons will help you to attract more visitors and to make them feel that you really care for their opinions. There are many persons online which if they like an article or a post on a blog, would like to share it with others and now with this new Web 2.0 thing, they can really do.
I don’t know much of CSS3, but all I know is that I am going to learn. As I said before, I will not present the writing codes for these buttons, because they can be found online. You should try to develop the codes that you find and make them more personalized, this meaning to use photos created by you, videos that are made by yourself and not copied from the Internet and so on. Ok, you can copy the code, but you can’t copy everything that man said in that code. For example, if he uses a picture called “Louise.png”, then this won’t help you at all, if you copy this too, because you don’t have a picture called in the same way.
And even if you would have a picture named in this way, your directory containing that picture should have been contained in an another directory, just as in the source code. And this is very unlikely.
That’s why I recommend to develop your own codes. In this way, you will be more proud of your work, even if it may last more than copying other man’s work. You are a true developer, if you create your own Websites, thus the buttons too.
