Cloning with HDClone

HDClone is an ideal tool for moving or cloning contents of entire hard disk. Since it works on physical level, it can be used by any operating system and any file system. This allows you to transfer entire system installations to a newer, faster and lighter hard disk (hard disk migration). Also it adds additional disk space automatically if required.

Since HDClone has its own operating system and is self-booting, it can be used even if the installed operating system is damaged. Therefore HDClone is also a solution for saving data from damaged had disks or system installations. Commercial versions HDClone Basic Edition, HDClone Standard Edition, Professional Edition HDClone and HDClone Enterprise Edition offer extended features.

In order to clone a disk with HDClone you must make a bootable CD; in the installation package you will find an instrument that will help you in making this bootable CD.

HDCLone can use besides traditional backup units of saving data, portable backup units like USB pens, memory cards, most of the USB drives, etc. It’s easy to use, easy to install, it doesn’t occupy much HD space and it has an intuitive interface.
