Call of Juarez part 3

The game structure of the game Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood has been redesigned. If in the first Call of Juarez, the missions came in an unavoidable succession, in Bound in Blood there are some sections which can be considered open-ended. I said earlier that the two rarely split, and in these sections the controllable character is on its own.

These moments are generally carried out in the desert and puts the character next to a gun shop, from where the character can buy weapons with the money that each enemy leaves after death, and next to a horse that can be used to explore the areas that are substantially wider than the normal missions. Depending on the area may appear different “jobs” that can be achieved for more money, but they are completely optional. These jobs do not offer much in addition to the experience of the story, but they may add another 15-20 minutes of gameplay per mission.

Unexpectedly, but Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood has a very good multiplayer mode. It contains five fairly original game modes and you can try any of the eight maps. Up to 12 players can be on one server at the same time and all the modes of play are based on classes. There are 13 classes, each with different weapons and they can be upgraded using money earned from eliminating enemies. Unfortunately they did not use a system developed in other games, so the upgrades are deleted at the end of the game.

On the bright side, this means that you should not limit yourself to one class, this allowing you to explore all the possibilities. In addition to Shootout and Posse (Deathmatch and Team Deathmatch) there are also three original modes of play. The most interesting is definitely the Wild West Legends, where the team of bandits attack a bank and the team of law people must defend the bank. This mode contains objectives and is very fun to play on a 6v6 server. Manhunt and Wanted are both based on the mechanics of Wanted, one of the players being the target of all.
With this game, Techland have surpassed themselves. Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood succeeds to match the first game in terms of storytelling and also to eliminate the technical problems that were pervasive in the first game. Even though the single player is not very long, the multiplayer mode will surely attract for many hours shooter fans, especially those fascinated by the Wild West.
