A few hours ago I’ve spoken about Alien Breed: Impact the gameplay. Now I want to draw some conclusions about this game and to see if the customers will be satisfied with this new series or if they should redirect to another game, although you may think that if I presented the game, I would say that is worth it. And I will say that. Just wait until the end, to see more about some characteristics of the game that must be emphasized one more time.
In addition to the version Xbox 360 of the game is the Prologue chapter, which cannot be played in other mode than in Freeplay, not included in the single player campaign itself. This prologue plays the role of a short tutorial that familiarizes the player with the control of Alien Breed: Impact. Such versions of Xbox Live and Alien Breed: Impact include 12 achievements, which can be unlocked via Steam.
And, just like in the case of Xbox 360 version, in addition to single player campaign, Impact comes with three missions dedicated to the cooperative game for two players. While on the console this type of game is held locally, with two controllers on the same system, in the case of the PC version, the cooperative mode can be played only online matchmaking being accomplished via Steam.

Unlike the single player, the coop camera is fixed, the player having control only over the movements of the character and of the target, by which he aims. Also, even if the game takes place online, the two participants must always remain in the same screen, disappearing as a player meaning that he or she risks losing one from each other.
Moreover, as the name suggests, the cooperative mode was created for two players, the hordes of aliens being more aggressive and stronger than in single player. The upgrade stations do not allow to save the game, they are limited to serve as a store of ammunition.
Even so, the ammunition in coop mode is something extremely rare and precious, the players being forced to use every gun they have, which has, fortunately, infinite ammunition. Also, there is no saving moment during coop levels, the two participants must be very careful not to die at the same time. A downed comrade can be recovered, if his partner is able to withstand a few seconds more being alive. Moreover, sometimes a sacrifice in battle may be even a good idea, because those who return from the dead come back enjoying a surplus of health.

Thus, even if there are offered only three maps dedicated to the cooperative game, these prove to be insufficient, requiring a memory of an elephant and several retry to complete these levels.
Alien Breed: Impact uses Unreal Engine 3 graphics engine, which, in the context of the game, does it job excellent. The scenery is full of details and all sorts of effects such as heat blur or all sorts of explosions. It is remarkable the passing through a certain portion of the ship that travels within a cosmic void, where the sound fits great graphics effects. In some situations, however, the camera approaches the character very much to offer the most spectacular angles on the action.
They are still moments when you realize that Alien Breed: Impact was not designed to be viewed so close, the distant objects which appeared to be well proportioned and excellent detailed, look more stumpy and rudimentary in approach.
The system requirements are not excessive at all, everyone that has a computer can enjoy the game without problems. Moreover, Alien Breed: Impact points out about all the chapters of such a game, providing a strong experience at a modest price, which barely exceeds the barrier of 10 euros.
