“Alan Wake” is that kind of game, that will make you shiver, of fear, of emotions, of waiting. Due to its unique, unexploited subject in game industry, “Alan Wake” received negative critics, being considered as a disappointing creation. Still few game editors regarded in a more lightly view this game, saying that proposed a mature, supernatural story.

“Alan Wake” walks on the old controversial road of “Twin Peaks”, you will have dark, strange deaths, visions from outer reality and a lot of tension. The resemblances stop here, “Alan Wake” has nothing in common with double life, Puritanism and courses. It`s a game to keep your mind alert, to make you try all the keys to a puzzle, although it makes use of crimes.
The same trailer will delight you with spectacular graphics, nocturnal backgrounds and you will feel that you are part of a true police novel. The only thing that bothered me was the slow motion of characters and this includes the body movements and also the gestures. “Alan Wave ” is rated as a thriller action game. The plot is quite simple at first sight, but will get more and more complex on the road. Al Wake is a thriller writer, which ironically-paradoxically will be captured into a story of thriller. Our hero will have to uncover a personal mystery, that shocked the entire local and pure community: his wife disappeared to nowhere during her vacation in the idyllic small town Bright Falls (I have to admit it, even this name says something creepy about the game). this will a piece of cake, but our writer will leave the nightmare of his own creation: characters and notions from his novels will come to life, torture him or give him suggestions of searching.
The story preserves something of the TV format of thrillers, meaning that the action is divided into episodes, plus the narration of characters. You will see that the figures of “Alan Wake” speak more than any character in any game, I assure you. That`s why you will probably feel that you are playing a movie and not a game.
